BREAKING NEWS:
NATIONAL ORIENTATION AGENCY (NOA) JOIN FORCES WITH KOMMON
SENSE TO KIC NIGERIA
Tuesday 15th September,
2015, marked a turning point in Victor Prince Dickson’s Kommon Sense
revolution; the movement to
empower humanity, especially youths to think
critically, strategically and creatively based on values, ethics and morals.
The vision got a big boast with the formal endorsement and support from the
National Orientation Agency (NOA), Plateau State.
According to the State Director of
NOA in Plateau State, Mr. Bulus S. Dabit, who received the KIC Nigeria sub-team
during a courtesy visit, “It is glad news to know that in our society today
people still believe in morality, especially when it is championed by young
people. I am happy that you referred to us as the face of morality, because we
have the mandate to coordinate and facilitate the issue of morality”.
He bemoaned the art that has come
into killing, where people are trained, prepared and funded to kill, where
people mobilize and set agenda for killing, this was with particular emphasis
to the Plateau killings and killings around Nigeria, while also condemning the
primitive looting that are reported in the newspapers.
For him, education without morality
is “building capacity for destruction of society”
He further stated that ‘Doing the
right thing is Kommon Sense’, unfortunately doing the right thing is not
common.
The sub-team was led by Oge Anyaji,
who is the co-ordinator of KIC Nigeria, the graphic designer of Kommon Sense as
well as the Head of Operations, El-Spice Media Group, Publishers of Kommon
Sense franchise. Other team members include the C.E.O of Zonehouse, Mr. Edwin
Paul, the C.E.O of Ebylon Global, Ebere Ilonu, and Ifeoma Osborn Nkume, a KIC
Nigeria Volunteer.
In response to Oge’s call for
critical and moral empowerment, the State Director promised to throw his full
weight behind the project to moralize our learning process. The discussion was
so viral that it gave birth to more platforms for engagement.
We will keep you abreast of latest
development as the project unfolds. In the mean time, we are most happy to drum
support and mobilize encouragement for the KIC Nigeria project, which is set to
be officially unveiled on the 30th of September 2015, at the Eagle
Valley Suite, West of Mines Junction, Tafawa Balewa Street, Jos - Plateau
State. You can visit www.kicnigeria.blogspot.com for more details or call
