WHEN ONE DOOR CLOSES ANOTHER OPENS. AKON SUPPORTS HAUSA ACTRESS THAT WAS BANNED, INVITES HER TO LOS ANGELES.

This is an obvious case of ‘one door closes another opens.’ American singer, Akon has shown interest in the career of Rahama Sadau, the Hausa actress that was banned for hugging a man in a music video.

Rahama has been invited to an ongoing collaborative project between Akon and Jeta in Los Angeles. Rahama’s fame is spreading farther since MOPPAN announced her ban from the Hausa film industry, Kannywood. The young actress has gotten so many criticisms for her ‘unpleasant’ role in the music video, as well as some support also.
Those voices have been joined by American-born singer and entrepreneur, Akon, who tweeted his support for Rahama by inviting her to a film set in Los Angeles, California.
“@Rahma_sadau looking forward to seeing u in LA. Let’s empower our women and motivate them to grow. Fanning them is cooler than banning them,” Akon wrote on Saturday  times and had hundreds of likes as well.

Full of excited, the said actress sent out her words on Sunday saying “Los Angeles calling! So excited about the invitation to visit the set of their new film in Hollywood!”
22-year old Rahama Sadau is one of the leading faces of indigenous movie sector. She has done a few features in Nollywood, she is currently featuring on a New Drama Series “Sons of Caliphate, running on Ebony Life, and now she would be doing her first Hollywood movie with Akon and Fred Amata.
This project will commence by December and will be shot in Senegal, South Africa and Nigeria.
